Ƶ depends on the generosity of scholarship and award donors who believe in the value of a Ƶ education. Many donors appreciate hearing directly from the students who benefit from their scholarships and other funds. This communication helps donors understand the positive impact of their generosity. As a result, we encourage all scholarship and award recipients, as a provision for receiving University scholarship and award assistance, to write their scholarship and/or award donors once per year upon request at a later time. All Ƶ students who accept scholarship and award assistance are asked to release potentially confidential personal and educational information to their scholarship donors. Such confidential information includes the student’s intended major, academic standing, hometown, and information related to scholarship and award requirements.
