The beauty of a liberal arts environment is that it teaches you how to think broadly.
Phyllis Ferrell Alumni
ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ pride has remained an important part of Phyllis Ferrell's life, even after graduation in 1994. Throughout a lengthy career as an executive at Eli Lilly & Company, and more recently as the Chief Impact Officer for StartUp Health’s Alzheimer’s Moonshot, Phyllis has remained strongly connected to her alma mater.
Early on, she was a member of her sorority’s house corporation and a frequent volunteer for mock interviews and resume preparation with ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ students. Through years of raising two children and advancing in her career, the connection evolved to take on other forms including financial support, endowing the Women in Economics and Business group, actively supporting the Management Fellows program, and serving on the School of Business and Leadership steering committee.
Phyllis has been a lifelong learner. She has built upon her ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ education by earning her MBA from Stanford University and, more recently, by earning her doctoral degree in public health from Indiana University. She credits the liberal arts environment at ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ with paving the way for the success she and so many others have enjoyed.
